Elissa Lok is an HR leader with over 15 years of diverse HR experience; she supports business leaders in managing their most important asset—their PEOPLE— by simplifying HR, aligning people strategies with business goals, and implementing targeted, practical solutions.

Her experience is varied and includes the private and public sectors, not-for-profits, small and growing businesses, as well as large multi-union organizations. Elissa understands that there is no “one size fits all” approach to managing the complexities of HR and building effective employee teams.

Some of the key services Elissa supports clients with are strategic culture shift and HR change management, HR audits/health checks, training and development, and leadership coaching on how to build high performance teams. Elissa also provides hands-on day-to-day HR support, acting as the HR department in small organizations, or supporting HR departments through providing additional bandwidth, expertise, or focused HR project management.

Elissa holds an Honours BA in Organizational Communications from the University of Ottawa, is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and has held certification as a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP).

Elissa supports clients throughout BC with their HR needs both remotely and in person, and headed up the Squamish branch of HR West, where she lives, works and plays.
