Emily is a strategic and people-focused HR leader with 25 years of full-cycle experience across diverse sectors—from professional services and utilities to non-profits, finance, and manufacturing. Known for her relational approach, she builds trust quickly and partners with leaders and teams to design practical, people-first HR strategies that stick.

She brings deep expertise in employee relations, talent development, recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement. Whether it’s helping a new manager navigate a tough conversation or building a people strategy from the ground up, Emily combines curiosity, creativity, and compassion to drive real results.

Emily holds a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and a Master’s in Human Resources from the University of Westminster (UK). She has also completed executive leadership training at UBC Sauder and continues to deepen her knowledge through ongoing learning.

In addition to her HR work, Emily is a sessional instructor teaching Human Resource Management at the college level and serves on the board of an arts non-profit in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. A born-and-raised Vancouverite, she’s mostly at home on her e-bike, chasing good coffee, and getting creative in the kitchen with family and friends.
